The Slovak Environmental Agency, as part of the LIFE Populair project, invites teachers of the second level of primary schools and secondary school teachers to methodological days dedicated to the manual on methods of air quality assessment. The methodological days will take place in various regions of Slovakia from March to April.
Education of teachers in the field of air protection is a prerequisite for schools to be able to effectively shape the environmental awareness of the younger generation. Teachers who understand the causes of pollution, its effects on health and possible solutions can naturally incorporate this knowledge into their teaching and guide students to responsible behavior. They are the bearers of trustworthy information and role models of attitudes that students adopt not only theoretically but also practically.
The aim of the methodological days is to provide teachers with practical tools and knowledge about the causes and consequences of air pollution, to present the methodological manual "How to find out what we breathe" and to inspire teachers to implement practical activities with students focusing on air quality. It is necessary to register for the event in advance using the registration form, which will be continuously published on the link of the specific event.
The methodological days will take place on the following dates:
